Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required.
• Criminal history considered in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, and access points to identify unusual activity and security concerns.
• Monitor access control points and visitor activity per site procedures and report issues to leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly following site protocols and contacting emergency services when directed.
• Prepare clear activity reports and communicate observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Observation in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access control points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, documenting observations and reporting access-related issues to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and contacting emergency services when directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
  

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
