Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time, Unarmed) for a Falls Church, VA healthcare location. You will actively patrol, greet patients and staff, and uphold a welcoming environment while deterring security incidents.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol First Aid Support in Falls Church, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to security-related needs. What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activity according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facilities, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and wayfinding, and help maintain orderly movement throughout the location.
• Complete required reports, maintain accurate daily activity logs, and communicate observations and incidents to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements

• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
