Allied Universal in Culver City, CA is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Facility Inspection. You will monitor assigned areas, perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and deliver attentive customer service to clients and visitors.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check as condition of employment.
• Drug screening required.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws; may be required.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns in required reports and communicate findings to Allied Universal leadership.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain awareness of visitors, deliveries, and contractors entering or leaving the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following site‑specific procedures and promptly reporting relevant details.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security‑related concerns in required reports, and communicate findings to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
