Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer in Katy, TX for a full-time unarmed patrol role. You will monitor facilities, deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a visible presence.

You will respond to concerns, document observations, and collaborate with team members. A background check, drug screening, and licensing as required by law will be completed. Starting pay is $17 per hour with a consistent schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility, parking, loading areas, and perimeter; report hazards.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; direct authorized personnel and guests.
• Complete activity logs and incident reports; communicate information to site contacts and leadership.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Facilities Security in Katy, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and communication. You will respond to concerns, document observations, and collaborate with team members while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and integrity-driven culture.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Tue 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Wed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Thur 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; verify credentials and direct authorized personnel and guests in accordance with site requirements.
• Complete activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation; communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
