Allied Universal in Columbus, OH is seeking a Security Officer—Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Patrol Planning to protect data centers and facilities. You will conduct routine patrols, deter incidents, provide customer service, and support access-control procedures while adhering to driver policy requirements.

This driving role requires a valid driver's license and the ability to work a daytime and overnight schedule.

Qualifications

• Monitor access points and visitor activity; verify credentials and maintain logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate observations to site leadership and supervision to support continuous operations at a technology-focused location.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Patrol Planning in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a technology data center location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of data center facilities, exterior areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate observations and concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision while supporting the continuous operation of a technology-focused location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
