Job summary

Allied Universal in Cypress, TX seeks a Security Officer (Full Time, Unarmed Patrol Driver) to protect residents and property. You will conduct patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents with professionalism, following site policies and emergency procedures.

Requires a valid driver's license, high school diploma, and ability to pass background checks and drug screening. This role includes room for growth, competitive pay, and benefits through Allied Universal.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required as per Allied Universal driver policy.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the property, verify authorized entry as directed by site policies, and report unauthorized persons, vehicles, or activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and contacting emergency services when appropriate.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a residential location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for residents and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
