• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and notify appropriate site contacts or emergency services as directed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and shift activities in required reports, logs, and electronic systems.

Pay Rate: $22.15 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, data infrastructure areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and credential compliance in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and shift activities in required reports, logs, and/or electronic systems.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
