Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time, Unarmed) in Louisville, KY. You will patrol, deter security incidents, assist employees and visitors, and report observations with a welcoming, service-oriented approach.

Responsibilities include monitoring access, performing regular patrols, and responding to incidents. The position offers daytime shifts and a starting pay of $18.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws; valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Assistance in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and delivery personnel. You will support a welcoming environment through attentive service, routine observations, and timely reporting. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution facilities, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing vehicle and pedestrian traffic, and following site-specific entry and exit procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
