Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Assessment in Fletcher, NC. You will monitor a logistics and distribution site, perform routine rounds, observe activity, report concerns, and provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers. Position Type: Full Time.

Pay Rate: $20.53 / Hour. Schedule includes night and evening shifts.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Assessment in Fletcher, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a logistics and distribution location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine rounds, observe activity, report concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication to employees, visitors, and drivers. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, building exteriors, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe the movement of personnel, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
