As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Alarm Assessment in Macungie, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, respond to security-related concerns, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201): Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management to ensure security protocols are followed.

• Alarm Panel Experience (B202): Familiarity with alarm panel systems is essential for roles that involve monitoring and responding to security alerts.

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204): Proficiency in using computers or tablets is required, as many tasks will involve digital tools and software.

• CPR Certification (B205): Candidates must possess a valid CPR certification to ensure readiness in emergency situations.

• Customer Service Experience (B219): Previous experience in customer service is crucial for roles that require interaction with clients and the public.

• Lift More Than 20 lbs (B209): Candidates should be physically capable of lifting items weighing more than 20 pounds, as some positions may require physical labor.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of technology and communications work areas, office spaces, access points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor credentials as directed, and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific escalation and reporting procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate observations and status updates with Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
