• Respond to incidents, alarms and emergencies in a calm, proactive manner and notify appropriate contacts.
• Observe operations and report policy violations or hazards to site leadership to support smooth deliveries and shift changes.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Coordination in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity and embraces innovative solutions.

• Mon: 06:30 PM - 02:30 AM
• Tue: 06:30 PM - 02:30 AM
• Wed: 06:30 PM - 02:30 AM
• Thur: 06:30 PM - 02:30 AM
• Fri: 06:30 PM - 02:30 AM

What You‒ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel at a food and beverage location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production, storage, receiving, office, parking, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Observe food and beverage operations for security-related concerns, report policy violations or hazards to site leadership, and support orderly operations during deliveries and shift changes.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
