Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time Unarmed Patrol) in Tracy, CA. You will protect client locations across Retail/Malls and other sites, maintain a visible presence, and support access control while delivering excellent customer service. Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A state, county, or city-issued license for security-related work is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the distribution facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, vendors, and drivers.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document observations.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and communicate security-related information to site leadership.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the distribution facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, vendors, and drivers in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and communicate security-related information, policy concerns, and maintenance issues to site leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A state, county, or city-issued license for security-related work is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
