Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer (Full Time, Unarmed Incident Report Patrol) in Akron, OH. The role involves patrolling, access control, and customer service, with a focus on safety and protocol adherence.

You will work a daytime/evening schedule across multiple shifts, maintain incident logs, and participate in emergency response activities. The position requires a high school diploma and the ability to pass background checks and screenings.

Qualificações

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and other authorized personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility facilities, buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to assigned locations by verifying credentials, directing visitors, and reporting unauthorized access attempts in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to established procedures.
• Maintain accurate logs, complete incident reports, and communicate observations, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

What You'll Do:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
