Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer in Crooksville, OH. You will patrol utilities locations, deter incidents, and provide welcoming service to employees and visitors while maintaining a strong presence and reporting promptly.

Position is part-time with daytime and weekend shifts. Pay rate is $18.50 per hour. Candidates must meet minimum requirements and be able to pass background checks and drug screening as required.

Qualifications

• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to identify hazards.
• Monitor site access by verifying credentials and maintaining visitor/contractor logs.
• Complete daily activity reports and shift handoff communications for leadership and site representatives.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a utilities-related industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, operational areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and potential hazards.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and directing authorized personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications for Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
