Allied Universal in Louisville, KY is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time, Unarmed) to perform incident prevention patrols at a busy distribution site. You will provide customer service to employees and visitors, conduct patrols, monitor access, and report any incidents or concerns.

The role requires a high school diploma, background check, and drug screen. A valid driver’s license is needed for driving positions.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution location, including building exteriors, parking areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, driver, and delivery check-in procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a visible presence and reporting unusual conditions, damaged property, or policy concerns.
