Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Grounds Patrol in Pittston, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast‑paced logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security‑related incidents. Age Requirement

• Candidates must be at least 21 years of age (C101). This requirement is in place to ensure compliance with legal regulations and to maintain a mature and responsible workforce.

Access Control/Badge Experience

• Candidates must have prior experience with access control systems and badge management (B201). This experience is crucial for roles that involve security and access management within our facilities.

Grounds Patrols

• Candidates must be willing and able to perform grounds patrols as part of their job responsibilities. This includes monitoring the premises to ensure safety and security, as well as reporting any suspicious activities.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, drivers, visitors, and vendors at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor vehicle, driver, visitor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures; verify access credentials and direct authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and complete required incident documentation.
• Maintain accurate logs of patrols, access activity, incidents, and security‑related observations while communicating professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
