Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, has an opening for a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Services in Northampton, PA. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain visible presence, report security concerns, and provide exceptional customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required under federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, vehicle traffic, and personnel entering or leaving the logistics and distribution location in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, package-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, parking lots, trailer yards, buildings, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Observe and report unusual activity, damaged property, and potential hazards to help deter unauthorized access and support orderly operations.

Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer supporting a dynamic logistics and distribution location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, report security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $18.44 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Sat: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
