Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a full-time, unarmed driver patrol in King of Prussia, PA. You will safeguard clients in commercial real estate, conduct routine patrols, deter incidents, and respond to alarms while delivering outstanding customer service.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Driver Patrol in King Of Prussia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to alarms and security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. • Contractual Obligations:

  • All candidates must possess a valid driver's license in accordance with the AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123). This is a mandatory requirement for all positions that involve driving as part of the job responsibilities.

• Additional Qualifications (Beneficial to Position): Candidates are encouraged to possess the following qualifications, which may enhance their suitability for the position:

  • Access Control/Badge Experience (B201): Familiarity with access control systems and badge management.
  • Alarm Panel Experience (B202): Experience in operating and managing alarm panel systems.
  • Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204): Proficiency in using computers or tablets for daily tasks and communication.
  • CPR Certification (B205): Certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, which is beneficial for roles involving safety and emergency response.
  • Customer Service Experience (B219): Previous experience in customer service roles, demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout commercial office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific access-control procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity in required reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
