Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required per state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, or telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency responses.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, exterior perimeter, parking areas, access points, and equipment areas to identify hazards and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials according to site procedures, reporting access-control concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate with site contacts and leadership.
• Prepare clear activity reports and incident documentation while maintaining professional communication with onsite personnel.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Boundary Patrol in Jeffersonville, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, exterior perimeter, parking areas, access points, and communications or equipment areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and required information to site contacts, emergency responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and incident documentation, and maintain professional communication with onsite personnel while supporting a welcoming environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
