Job summary

Allied Universal in Florence, KY is seeking a Full Time Unarmed Security Officer to protect clients in logistics and distribution sites. You will patrol, deter incidents, maintain logs, and provide excellent customer service, with a visible presence to safeguard people and property.

We offer weekly pay, 401K, medical and dental insurance, and days off. The role requires at least 2 years of security experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and success in background and drug screening.

Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Drug screening required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver's license may be required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols throughout warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, offices, and surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and maintain logs and incident documentation.
• Observe and report unusual activity, hazardous conditions, and policy violations to site contacts and leadership.

What You'll Do:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
