As a Security Officer Full Time - Site Patrol in Ladson, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Driving Access Control Officer at a leading automotive location, you will manage entry procedures, verify credentials, monitor access points, and provide professional customer service. You will help deter incidents through a visible presence, clear communication, and accurate documentation while supporting a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an automotive location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor passes as directed, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Control entry and exit of vehicles, vendors, and personnel in accordance with established site procedures, helping to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated access points, parking areas, business operations, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
