Job summary

Allied Universal in El Segundo, CA is seeking a Security Officer Full Time for our DoD-cleared operations. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct patrols, deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service while upholding site policies.

You will work a daytime to evening schedule, maintain visitor logs, verify access, and collaborate with a team to support a safe, compliant environment. This role requires a DoD Secret Clearance and a high school diploma, with a background check and drug

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation and drug screen required.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws; driver’s license for driving roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of technology-focused office areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate activity logs as required.
• Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with employees, visitors, and site contacts while following Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.

As a Security Officer supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
