Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and deliveries in accordance with access-control requirements; verify credentials and direct individuals to appropriate check-in processes.
• Operate screening equipment and follow established procedures for prohibited items, suspicious packages, and access concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, entry points, and surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized access.

Security Officer Full Time Screening Services

As a Security Officer Full Time Screening Services in Kansas City, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help support a secure environment by screening personnel and visitors, monitoring access points, and communicating professionally with employees and guests. You will remain attentive to security-related concerns, help deter incidents through a visible presence, and contribute to a welcoming experience. Pay Rate: $19.17 / Hour

• Tue: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thu: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
