Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Screening Associate in McDonough, GA. You will monitor access points, screen visitors and belongings, and report security-related concerns while delivering excellent customer service.

A background check and drug screen are required where permitted, with licensing considerations per local laws. You will maintain a visible presence to deter incidents and support a welcoming environment for clients and visitors, across various industries

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check will be conducted according to applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.

As a Screener in a retail and mall location, you will help create a welcoming environment by monitoring access points, screening visitors and belongings as appropriate, and reporting security-related concerns. You will maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

• Tue 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Wed 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Thur 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Sat 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Sun 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, associates, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals, packages, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific procedures; verify authorized access and direct visitors to appropriate locations.
• Monitor entry points and report unusual activity, access concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of retail areas, stockrooms, receiving locations, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
