As an unarmed Security Officer supporting a residential community, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and assist residents and visitors with professionalism and care. Pay Rate: $20.60 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout residential community grounds, parking areas, common areas, building exteriors, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site‑specific policies; report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Have at least three years of security‑related, law enforcement, military police, or military experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
