Allied Universal in El Segundo, CA is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Reception Guest Relations to greet visitors, verify access, monitor entrances, and provide exceptional customer service at a commercial real estate site.

You will support a safe environment by monitoring security systems and responding to incidents, while maintaining professional communication with tenants, staff, and management. This role offers daytime to evening shifts and pay of $20.70 per hour.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff at a commercial real estate location.
• Greet visitors, verify access requirements, issue visitor credentials, and maintain visitor records.
• Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and other security systems; report issues to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and tenant requests calmly following emergency procedures.
• Maintain clear communication with property management and leadership while completing required reports.

What You'll Do

• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff at a commercial real estate location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Serve as a professional front-desk presence by greeting visitors, verifying access requirements, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate visitor records.
• Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems; report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, tenant requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Maintain clear communication with property management, tenants, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership while completing required reports and shift documentation.

Minimum Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
