Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Patrol with Active Clearance in Chantilly, VA. You will serve and safeguard clients across Tech/Media/Telecom sectors, performing routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Position Type: Full Time. Pay Rate: $33.35 / Hour. Schedule: Mon–Fri 08:00–16:00. You’ll contribute to a welcoming environment and uphold security standards with integrity and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Active DoD TS-SCI clearance required.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check conducted per federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity per site procedures; report concerns to leadership.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly, following escalation and emergency protocols.
• Prepare clear, accurate security reports and communicate observations to relevant personnel.

• Wed 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Thur 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, business areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, maintaining accurate logs and reporting access concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and emergency response protocols.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate security-related observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an active DoD TS-SCI clearance.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
