Qualifications

• Background check as per federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Experience in Chantilly, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at a technology, media, or telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, business areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization in accordance with site-specific procedures; document and report access-related issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
