Allied Universal is seeking a full-time Security Officer to patrol a financial institution in Jersey City, NJ. You will provide excellent customer service, deter incidents, and report findings while maintaining a visible security presence.

Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Log Review

In Jersey City, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 08:45 AM - 05:15 PM
• Tue: 08:45 AM - 05:15 PM
• Wed: 08:45 AM - 05:15 PM
• Fri: 08:45 AM - 05:15 PM
• Sat: 08:45 AM - 02:15 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the financial institution, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations, as assigned.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unusual activity or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
