As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Inspection Driver in Elyria, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 12:00 AM - 09:00 AM
• Wed 12:00 AM - 09:00 AM
• Thur 12:00 AM - 09:00 AM
• Fri 12:00 AM - 09:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and/or emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, or conditions requiring attention.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as assigned, document visitor and contractor activity, and report access-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and notifications to appropriate personnel.
• Complete clear and accurate reports, maintain required logs, and follow site requirements for personal protective equipment and restricted-area access.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
