Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Vacaville, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorized access, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report access concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, access points, and designated operational areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site personnel and emergency responders as directed.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while maintaining awareness of site rules, restricted areas, and hazardous-material protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
