Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, associates, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and hazards and report observations to site contacts and leadership.
• Assist with access control, incident documentation, and communication with local authorities when directed.

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Columbia, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and associates. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Tue: 10:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Wed: 10:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Thur: 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Fri: 10:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to customers, associates, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and potential hazards, and report observations to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Assist with access control, incident documentation, and communication with local law enforcement or emergency responders when directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
