Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a full-time Community Patrol in Boca Raton, FL. The role focuses on safety, customer service, and enforcing site policies during evening shifts.

You will patrol, monitor access, respond to incidents, and coordinate with residents and staff to deter unauthorized activity while maintaining a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience required.
• A valid driver’s license is required per policy.
• A guard card or license is required.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.

Security Officer Full Time Community Patrol in Boca Raton, FL

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, contractors, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout residential common areas, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, documenting incidents, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Communicate professionally with residents, property staff, law enforcement, emergency responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21+ years of age for role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
