As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 11:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur 11:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri 11:00 PM - 08:00 AM
• Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 11:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and completing accurate reports.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, equipment concerns, and policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
