Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Commerce City, CO. You will patrol assigned areas, deter incidents, and provide customer service while maintaining a welcoming environment.

Pay is $22.41 per hour with a night schedule supporting a fast-paced technology location. Minimum requirements include being 18+, HS diploma, background check, drug screen, and licensing as applicable.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s licence will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and help confirm that visitors, vendors, and/or employees follow site entry procedures and credential requirements.
• Support day‑to‑day operations at a fast‑paced technology location by reporting maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
