Job Summary

Baptist is looking to add a Security Officer to our Protective Services Department.

Shift Details: Full-Time, Nights, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM (rotating weekends and holidays are required)

Location: Baptist Downtown

The Security Officer's primary function is to ensure the safety and security of patients, visitors, and employees by patrolling and monitoring the medical center properties. As patient safety and experience are top priorities, this growing team is implementing new technologies such as metal detectors.

Responsibilities

• Report any unusual circumstances and take appropriate corrective actions
• Protect individuals from harm by monitoring safety hazards
• Provide escort services
• Respond to unsafe situations
• Enforce hospital parking regulations
• Assist individuals with vehicle problems
