Description:

Nazareth Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is seeking a Security Officer to join our Security Team.

Qualifications:

• 1 year prior security experience required.

Responsibilities:

1. The Security Officer is responsible for the security of hospital employees, patients/families, visitors, and property. Responsible for fire prevention and initial response measures. Maintains safety practices in assigned areas.
2. Facilitates metal detector screening, including walk-through magnetometers and hand-held devices, to detect weapons and contraband, as well as morgue release processes.
3. Conducts metal detector screening at hospital main entrance, emergency walk-in entrance, and emergency ambulance entrance.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years Security and/or Customer Service experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record required.
• 75 hours per pay period. Night shift with weekend commitment.
