Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time Unarmed Patrol Communications) in Cincinnati, OH. You will protect client sites, provide excellent tenant and visitor service, and maintain a visible security presence during scheduled shifts.

Responsibilities include patrolling, monitoring access points, responding calmly to incidents, and documenting activities in daily reports. A 6+ month security background and a willingness to complete screenings are required.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Communications in Cincinnati, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with tenants and visitors, and report observations with integrity. Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized access or unusual conditions according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
