Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer at our Bordentown, NJ location. This full-time role involves unarmed security, patrolling facilities, and delivering strong customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors.

You will monitor access points, respond to incidents, and complete clear incident reports in alignment with site procedures. A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions, and CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted per laws.
• Drug screen will be conducted per policy.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, with proper reporting and escalation.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of offices, parking facilities, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization, reporting unusual conditions as directed.
• Prepare clear activity and incident reports and share observations with leadership and site contacts.

As a Security Officer Full Time Morning in Bordentown, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, parking facilities, building exteriors, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and report unusual conditions to the appropriate contacts.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
