Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Mobile Patrol Driver in Flat Rock, MI. You will patrol unarmed, monitor access, and provide exceptional customer service while upholding company values.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and vendors by following site procedures.

• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas and perimeter.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report unusual conditions as directed.
• Complete patrol logs and incident reports, communicating findings to leadership and site contacts.

As a Security Officer Full Time Mobile Patrol Driver in Flat Rock, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, support access control, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and support a welcoming environment while demonstrating Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven values.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Tue: 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Wed: 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Fri: 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Complete accurate patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
