Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a full-time Security Officer in Oak Creek, WI to protect clients at logistics and distribution sites. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access, and assist with badge-related processes while delivering exceptional customer service.

No experience is required; must be 21+ and able to lift up to 20 pounds. We offer weekly pay and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and life insurance.

Qualifications

• Background check and drug screen as required by law.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or delivery personnel per site policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and control entry and exit for personnel and vehicles.
• Maintain access-control logs, visitor records, and incident documentation.
• Respond calmly to incidents and notify appropriate contacts per site protocols.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and shipping-related authorization, and control entry and exit for employees, contractors, visitors, and vehicles in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain accurate access-control logs, visitor records, and incident documentation, and report irregularities or unauthorized access attempts to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements

• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Must be 21+ years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
