Qualifications

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or clients at a commercial real estate front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Greet visitors, verify access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and contractor logs in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor lobby activity, access points, cameras, alarms, and/or communication systems, and report unusual activity or equipment concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and emergency response protocols.
• Maintain a professional front-desk presence, provide directions and general assistance, and help to deter unauthorized access to the location.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
