As a Security Officer Full Time Licensed Unarmed Patrol in SUNNYVALE, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact professionally with residents and visitors, communicate observations, and provide exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $24.31 / Hour

• Mon: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Tue: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Wed: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Thur: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Fri: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization when required, and report unusual conditions or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately in accordance with site-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least six months of security-related experience is required.
• This is primarily a driving post.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
