Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Full Time Key Control in Gretna, NE. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and report security concerns while delivering exceptional customer service.

Position Type: Full Time. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour. Schedule: overnight shifts across the week. You will deter incidents through a visible presence and teamwork with site staff to keep clients and personnel safe.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screening per policy.
• All Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories as allowed by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide security services by monitoring premises and controlling access.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit points, and maintaining visitor and contractor records.
• Monitor inbound and outbound truck traffic, driver check-in processes, and restricted areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
