Job summary

Allied Universal in Minooka, IL is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Incident Response. You will monitor the distribution facility, deter security incidents, and provide courteous service while upholding our culture of integrity.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents, documenting observations, and coordinating with site leadership. Qualifications include 18+ (21+ armed), high school diploma, background check, drug screen, and applicable licensing.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted per federal, state, and local laws.
• A drug screen will be required to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the distribution facility, loading areas, employee entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain entry/exit records per site procedures.
• Observe receiving, shipping, and warehouse operations for security-related concerns and report potential policy violations or hazards.

As a Security Officer Full Time Incident Response in Minooka, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will communicate professionally, respond to incidents, and provide customer service while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven culture.

What You’ll Do

• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate entry and exit records in accordance with site procedures.
• Observe receiving, shipping, and warehouse operations for security-related concerns and report potential policy violations, hazards, or suspicious activity to site leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
