As a Security Officer Full Time Identity Screening in Carson, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help support a welcoming, secure environment by screening individuals and/or items, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will remain visible, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and work collaboratively with site teams. Pay Rate: $18.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Tue 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Wed 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sun 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Screen employees, visitors, packages, and vehicles entering designated logistics and distribution areas in accordance with established access-control requirements.
• Operate screening equipment and inspect belongings, shipments, and other items as directed to help identify prohibited or unauthorized materials.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; promptly notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned business areas, entry points, and perimeter locations; document observations and report suspicious activity or policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
