Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for an overnight position at a hospital in West Columbia, SC. You will coordinate dispatch, monitor alarms, and maintain incident logs to support safe patient care.

You will conduct patrols, respond to incidents with medical personnel and responders, and ensure a calm, professional environment for staff and visitors.

• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with medical personnel, emergency responders, and site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

As a Security Officer Full Time Hospital - Overnight in West Columbia, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Dispatch Officer in a healthcare setting, you will coordinate communications, monitor incoming calls and alarms, document incidents, and dispatch appropriate personnel to support timely responses. What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Tuberculosis testing and MMR vaccinations are required for COLA DPSS/DHS.
• Hospital vaccines are required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
