As a Security Officer Full Time Entry Screening in Anchorage, AK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a dynamic logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by conducting screening procedures, monitoring access points, identifying and reporting unusual activity, and delivering courteous service to employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen personnel, visitors, drivers, packages, and/or deliveries in accordance with site procedures; verify access credentials and direct individuals to appropriate areas.
• Monitor entry and exit points, visitor activity, and screening equipment; report unauthorized access attempts, prohibited items, and unusual activity to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the business, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter, while documenting observations and incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
