Job summary

Allied Universal in Olive Branch, MS is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Entry Control to safeguard clients and manage access at a logistics location. You will verify credentials, monitor entry points, and deliver professional customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers during a 2:00 PM–10:00 PM shift.

You will work as part of a collaborative team, respond to incidents, conduct patrols, and help maintain a secure, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check conducted per applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law; licensing may be required.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points; verify credentials, manage visitor and driver access, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking locations, and perimeter to help identify unauthorized access and other security-related concerns.
• Observe vehicle and pedestrian traffic, support adherence to site access requirements, and report unusual activity through established procedures.

• Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
