Job summary

Allied Universal® is seeking Security Officers to safeguard clients across various industries. The role is full-time with a pay rate of $19 per hour, requiring a valid driver’s license for driving positions and compliance with background checks and drug screening.

Responsibilities include providing customer service, following site-specific policies, and responding to incidents. Be prepared for patrols and varying client-site environments.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Background investigation required as per federal, state and local laws; criminal histories considered.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws; valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
